Lol, I saw a thread just titled "add hops?" and I am like DURRRRRRR! is that a poll?

So here it is.

Nicely phrased question, Cheezy!

looks like most folks went with the "should NOT" portion - but then what about the hops?

I'm sick of watered down beer. So let's just leave out the water. It's such a flavorless ingredient anyway.

Gotta agree with this one! I like to drink fermented dry malt extract. Sometimes I mix in hops just for the hell of it.

All of this means something.Nothing. I like to breathe air so i can drink beer.

Probably not doggy-style either.

Dry dogged schwarzbier might get some odd results too (probably just this post;))

Some people like to add cat, but there are lots of folks out there who complain that cat produces a Simcoe or Citra-like flavor.

I've only used liquid dog extract. Do you need to mash dog, or does it just go in the boil?

I feel that liquid takes on a more wolflike flavor if it sits around at all. I prefer dog DME which is easier to store......unless, of course, you are making a clone of STONE's wolfman quadruple IPA.

I agree with the OP.

Thank you Paulster, I call it like it is.

Highly refined dogs like poodles and shihtzus can't self convert - they need to be mashed with a Labrador in order to get full conversion.

Rant: Everybody claims their dry dog is the only method that works! Why can't we just agree that whatever dry dog method you use works for YOU. There's more than 1 way to skin a cat (and likewise, more than 1 way to dry a dog!)

I want to make a SCASD (single cat and single dog) beer. Can any of you suggest a breed of dog and cat to use?
