Has anyone had any experience with adapting vintage tap handles that don't match current standard US faucets? I picked up a tap handle that looks like it's from the 40s or 50s and the thread is too big. It's 5/8 18 thread as opposed to current standard 3/8 16 thread. Was hoping I could piece together some items from the hardware store to resolve this, but so far haven't had any luck. I feel like I can't be the first person to run into this. You can check out the tap ahndle at this link: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-DU...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649
