Hey all,

Doing a Pale ale and was steeping grains (1 lb 2 row and 1 lb crystal 40) around 150-155 for around 40 minutes. The temp drifted to 140 so I decided to add some heat. Door bell rang... lo and behold when I return the pot is boiling. I quickly removed the grain bag.

I'm already RDWDAHB-ing, but just wondering what that would do... more tannins? nothing?

Already on to the full boil part now. :cross:

Thanks!
