Can someone please tell me the calculation for 6 to 7 aau's?? I'm trying to understand but I need your help. Cheers!!!!!

Ounces of a particular hop multiplied by its alpha acid rating equals AAU.

Example: a recipe calls for 6 AAU of bittering hops and what you have is 6% alpha acid, you would use 1 ounce. 6 % AA X 1 oz = 6 AAU
If it was 12% alpha acid, you'd use .5 ounces. 12% X .5 oz = 6 AAU
