ya hey from da U.P. oops, I accidentally posted this in another Michigan thread, so will re-post here :D

My recently retired buddy has been brewing for years and years so I decided to jump in for some winter fun. I like IPA, Reds and some dark brews. I'm fairly lazy so will stick to syrup w/small amounts of grain in 1 Liter bottles. I've ordered the Irish Red extract kit from NB, we currently have a batch of 3 Hearted almost ready for bottling.

Welcome. I heard a rumor that Yoopers make some of the best beer around- partly because we don't have much of the "good stuff" around here.
