I am very new to home brewing and have spent the last several weeks reading these forums without saying much. I read mention of Kal's website a couple of places and decided to give it a look.

I have not read all of it yet, but what of it have has been extremely informative. I'll stop talking (writing) before I show my ignorance, but I felt I should voice my gratitude. So, for what it's worth: Thanks Kal.

RA... welcome to the obsession! I've been in since May of this year, and I've brewed 7 batches thus far with one more to go for the year. Nothing replaces experience. I've combed the forums for nuggets (and found many) but they mean little without the experience to put them against. Besides... I damn near lost my job for hanging in the forums too much :)

Brew on, RA... and enjoy the ride.
