So, today I racked my oatmeal porter based coffee beer to secondary. It sat in the primary longer than I would have liked, and there was a lot of junk on the bottom. In fact, I lost about a gallon of beer because sludge was getting in the siphon. When I dumped the sludge out, I noticed an odd, sulferous odor. Now, I tasted the beer, and it tastes pretty good at this point. And it smelled fine in the glass. So, any thoughts on what this might be? The beer isn't ruined, is it?

everything is going to be fine. big globs of yeast have a funky smell. it's normal.

relax, don't worry, have a homebrew.

Awesome, that's just what I wanted to hear. I figured that if it tasted OK now, it would probably turn out OK... But you never know.
