It may not be able to be done but thought I'd ask anyway.....
Decided at the last minute to have a Superbowl party, I have a Porter and an IPA in fermenters now and I'm not about to rush those, my question is...
Is there a certain type of beer or ingredients I can put together tonight and brew tonight and be ready by Superbowl Sunday... and taste reasonably.
I have roughly 10 days

+1 I agree w/ Shooter an Hef would be my choice with such a short window of time.

mild is another one that can potentially be drinkable in 10 days. won't be it's best, but can be drinkable.

Maybe something really, really light (low OG, and ABV %)... Although, even force carbonating (kegging and using CO2) will make you lose a day or two. So really, you would only have about 7-8 days, which is far too little (in my opinion) to get something to finish, and have it be better than cheap beer you could pick up at the store.

If you've never kegged a brew before, this is not the time to try and force things.

Also consider, that you're probably looking at losing a day before fermentation is really going. Getting it to kick off fast will produce off flavors that you won't have enough time to compensate for.

Next time, plan ahead a bit more... Figure ~6 weeks from boil to glass...
