What do you think? Beginning now. Do hop additions look good? Should I have added some crystal grain?

I think this looks like a fine beer, but it looks nothing like a Steam, or California Common beer. You're beer is too pale to be a steam beer. It would need a malt bill that has some crystal & is more like a pale ale kind of grainbill.

This beer looks a lot like what I would imagine a Sam Adams Noble Pils recipe could look like, but with the steam beer yeast. If that's what you're going for, then I think it'll be great.

I am a fan of California Common Beer and wanted to try a combo of the Sam Adams Noble pils as a CAlifornia Common. I did originally order 1 lb of crystal 20L from AHBS, however I accidently had it combined into another grain bill for an oatmeal stout. I opted to go without the grain

Other than crystal are there other grains to make it a California Common?
