Hey guys, im new to the hobby, but I thought I'd show off my first label for the first (solo) beer I have made

And here is how it looks on the bottle

The statue is Il Facchino "The Porter" in Italin.
Its a play on the type of beer and them, well, you get it!

Looks good. The image looks a bit faded from a distance but then again I'm looking a screen and not the real thing.

The second pic is from my Blackberry phones camera so its not that good. That and my printers didnt do that good of a job. Im working out the bugs because I want my label to be a little cleaner.

what paper did you use to stick it to the bottles?

Also just curious what size you used.

I just used regular paper, sprayed it with clear polyurethane, and glued it.
I tried a bunch of different adhesives and seriously the best one I found was Staples brand glue sticks (for office work). The glue stick was more of a WTF Ill try it since I have a couple in my desk at home and they seriously worked the best.
As for the sizing, I just played with it in MS office until I got the size I liked.
