So its been about 4 months since I brewed a batch.
It is time to break that dry spell.
I have in my hands ingredients for two all grain batches. Reaper's Mild and Black Pearl Porter. I got everything I needed from my awesome local home brew store, microbe brewers supply .
I sent him a grain bill, and like a dummy, I forgot to specify that it was for two seperate batches. He milled all my grains together. After I noticed and said I had messed up, he just went and reground all the grains again for me. Wasnt rude, and was very nice of him to do so. He even seemed very interested what kind of brown ale the grains would make. It feels great to have a local home brew store that not only is helpful but has great prices that beat the internet.
48.00 bucks for everthing in the picture, minus the BYO 250 clones. I had to get it once I saw it.
I will post some updates as I get these bad boys underway this weekend.
Super excited to get back on the wagon. Missed making some brew!
