I love this vintage beer can with a great slogan "A Case of Good Judgment" - I made an entry on it on my website, including links to the beer can collection of two Chicago-area brothers and a great website on the history of the Schoenhofer Brewery that made Edelweiss before Prohibition. http://www.singingboysbrewing.com/The-Blog.html

You should head up to Potosi, WI to the National Breweriana Museum if you've never been. It's full of this kind of stuff. The really cool vessels were from the period when they were using small stoneware jugs to "bottle" beer.

That looks like it would be a nice little trip! Thanks for the heads up. http://www.potosibrewery.com/index.cfm

That museum looks like a cool place to visit! Saved the link. I love seeing beer stuff from the old days. Hell,my youth is now part of the old days...:drunk:

It's about $7 to go through it, and they give you a coupon to go to the bar and get a free pint. It's an afternoon trip. It can take a couple of hours to wander through the whole place. Also, I'd recommend staying for dinner. The bar serves a full dinner menu. The food is good.

I love the vintage cans and bottles.I saw a great one in food Lion the other day,for the life of me I cant remember what it was.
