I plan on using this recipe I generated as my 2nd all grain and was looking for some feed back. It will be 5.25 gallons when done. I figured I'd shot for a mash at 153 90 mins

0.25 lbs. Weyermann CaraMunich® II info
0.25 lbs. Belgian Aromatic info
.75 oz. Centennial (Pellets, 10 %AA) boiled 60 min. info
0.50 oz. Amarillo (Pellets, 8.5 %AA) boiled 5 min. info
.25 oz. Centennial (Pellets, 10.00 %AA) boiled 1 min. info

Looks tasty to me, pretty simple grain bill (which is good), moderate hopping (fine if that is what you want). No real need for a 90 min mash with that high a temp and percentage base malt, but it won't hurt anything. Good luck brewing.

Maybe a tad light on the ibu's. Also, I always take the 1 minute addition and use it at flameout ( I wouldn't use less than an ounce), after the wort is cooled to around 180f- 190f. The aroma will be noticeably higher.

Thanks for the suggestions. I think I might take a 1/2 ounce of amirrillo and a 1/4 ounce of cent and use them at flame out. We will see what it taste like on brew day. Thanks all:tank:
