Hey guys,
A buddy just posted this online this morning. It seems that this beer is made with some special mashing or fermentation process? Was wondering if anyone could fill me in on this technique, not that I want to drink 65% beer. He mentioned "ice bock" and how they freeze the beer, but he wasn't exactly sure himself.

I saw it too. It's called freeze concetrating. That's the way most of these super high ABV beers are made. I guess it would technically fall into the eisbock category. I personally think it's just kind of ridiculous. I wouldn't go out of my way to get one.

Honestly, IMHO I would not call that a beer anymore because of the freeze fractionating. I mean if you distill beer its some sort of beer whiskie so why should freeze fractionating be any different?
