Hello to all of you BeerSmith users.

I have a new 10 gallon system and I have brewed two 10 gallon batches. Yesterday I purchased the ingredients for a 5 gallon batch of blonde ale that I want to brew on my 10 gallon system. Do you think I will need to make any changes to my BeerSmith Equipment profile?

I'd think so,yes, for that recipe. The boil off could be different from using a smaller kettle. Try changing it for that recipe anyway,& see if the numbers change.

I'm using my same kettle for this 5 gallon batch that I would use for my 10 gallon batches (It's a keggle) Do you think the boil off rate would be different based on the volume of liquid in the BK?

The smaller the amount in the kettle, the less sheer volume that needs to be heated to a given temp. so i think the boil off rate would be different.
