5-Gal. cooler... the Gott/Rubbermaid type?

I ran into a free 5-gallon Rubbermaid orange, round drink cooler, with screw-in lid "Goot" marking at bottom.

Can I assume this is the type I have seen here in some folks' setups, as HLT?

Yes, but you will be pretty limited to the amount of grain you can mash. I have a 10 gallon myself. Here's link to Bobby_M's post on MLT sizing.
