Hi folks,

4 weeks into secondary and something looks funky. Started in a 5 gallon with hand pressed cider that was heat pasteurized. After fermentation moved into secondary and let it sit for a week or two and moved it one more time. Last time I added 3 crushed campden tablets and it went from clear to cloudy and developed some particulate in the neck. Cloudiness cleared but there is some suspended visible particulate from the surface to about an inch down. The fact it's just sitting there is freaking me out. I almost feel like it's multiplying but I may be overreacting

What's happening and is something wrong? I've included a picture as well.

Thanks in advance guys and gals.

Thanks dood. Had to look up that acronym!!!

Willing to bet the biggest noob mistake is impatience :drunk:

I've noticed all three times I've added campden in secondary that some kind of particulate was generated? Just dead yeast?
