The valve has a mounting flange behind the lever for panel mounting. Otherwise you will likely need to use some rigid pipe on at least one branch to clamp to.

I went through this thought process several years ago when building my system. In the end, everything just mounts to my two pumps and is quite sturdy. No additional mounts needed despite having a pretty good number of valves on the manifold setup.. here's a picture from a year or so ago, but it's going on five years without any issues.

I love the picture, makes me feel more sane.:D

My pump is also supporting a few valves but in the future I may have to build a bracket to mount a three way valve I have plans for. Should be pretty simple with a piece of sheet metal.

Thanks, Day for the good link, and others for comments. I am using the cheap tan pumps at the moment, so mounting these valves off of the pump is probably not going to work.

Just a heads up..It may not make a difference in your setup but I ordered the same 3 way valve from duda as well as the cheaper stainless one from ebay http://www.ebay.com/itm/1-2-inch-3-...062900?hash=item41bd9d1634:g:d3YAAOSwopRYl-wo and found the ones from ebay actually has larger ports for more flow so I replaced all on mine with them..

I used 1/2" copper pipe holders on standoffs to hold the pipes where they attach to the valve and 1" stainless pipe holders to hold the rims below it. (I was performing a cip in the pic which is why my BK is bypassed and unhooked below.)

I'm planning on having this valve setup mounted on my brewing table using T-bar and pipe clamps on the nipples in between the 3 way valves.
