It is always satisfying when a game 7 is won with one sided scoring. There are no what-ifs or excuses. I hate double ot game 7s. It almost takes away a little bit of validation from the winner.

Both teams are validated enough in that position in my eyes, as it took 6 other games to get there.

Agreed. Who doesn't love a game 7?? Nobody!

And close match, especially a Game 7, is just the same.

I'd much rather watch a nailbiter for all the marbles than a blowout.

They got away with one last night when the ref blew the whistle prematurely, not seeing that the puck was still loose. It ended up in the goal.

So, maybe there's a balance there.

Sometimes things just work for a goalie. Could be the sunspots. Or people from the opposition tempting the hockey gods...

Some guys sit the bench, some guys get pulled up from the minors, sometimes a player beats up another player, sometimes a coach is replaced.

When you don't know what to do to win, you try one of these...
