They need to dry a bit more than that. You want them to be about 1/5th their wet weight. You are only at 1/4.
Your target weight is 6oz. or less.
My 2nd year Willamette might give me a full ounce dry. :-\ hopefully she does better next year or she's getting replaced.

Picked my first harvest yesterday. Got 2oz wet from my Fuggles that are now drying, and there is probably another 2oz still on there maturing. Still have my EKG to harvest, and that has LOADS on it. Then have a Zenith which was planted a month after the others which has some, but not loads on it. All first year plants. Can't wait for next year. The Fuggles and Zenith were grown at my parental's house, and they said they looked amazing, like little Chinese lanterns.

Yes, that is a keystone light in the coozy, but before you judge, hear me out...
I use the weak taste beer and throw some cones in to get the hint of what the flavor might be.

Stevo2569 said:Browning is normal if you harvest too late. Don't worry though I still got descent results from some browned cent. They tend to lose a lot of lupilin though as they fall apart and sticky as hell. As u prob found out.
