Hey guys. Newbie here. Quick question, got a kit from my partner for my birthday, it's a pale ale kit. Now question is it comes with the small yeast sachet that's under the lid of the can malt extract, and a sachet of Nottingham. Now the instructions that came with it only mention the Nottingham yeast. Should I also put in the other packet of yeast?
Thanks

1 package of dry yeast is plenty for any 5g batch... Just re-hydrate before pitching as specified on the package. Nottingham is a nice clean yeast when fermented cool (low 60s F)

The fromunda yeast is who knows what and is who knows how old.... It's probably OK but there's a reason the kit maker provided the extra pack of Notty.
