OK, never used an airlock before. Filled up the two chamber airlock to the 2 fill lines, and stuck it in the hole in the rubber bung. Doing this pushed the star-san from one chamber to the other chamber. Is this a problem or not? Is it something that can be redone. Can the airlock be pulled mid fermentation? Thanks guys!

You're fine. As long as the liquid in the airlock is about where it should be, it will operate normally. Second of all, as the pressure changes you'll see the liquid levels change as gas moves out of the fermenter. And finally, yes, you can pull the airlock during fermentation if you want to adjust things.

Cool, thanks. Another question... where did my first post in this forum go? I made a post about my first brewing experience and when I hit submit it said it had to be approved by a mod, but my post about the airlocks went up immedietly.thanks guys!

Oops never mind! I poked around and know why now. I posted a couple of links in my thread and the post is being held to make sure I'm not spamming.
