Ok, so I just brewed up a partial grain extract kit, a BB american pale ale, and I think I moved it to the secondary too quickly - SG was 1.054 and FG is 1.02, directions said to wait until 1.015 but I missed that part, also lost about 3/4 a gallon due to 2 x Daschunds knocking over my bucket(Germans make good beer not good dogs). My question is, if it tastes too sweet for beer and at the same time too hoppy, will this sweetness cut down after a time? I know the hoppiness will cool out, I read that in a different post. Thanks guys!
