Made a basic stout about 2.25 gallons. Ive steamed and added 40 pumkin spice tea bags. 20 tied to the top and 20 sunk to the bottom.

Smells amazing, ill follow up with results of this experiment...

That is a neat fermenter. I put tea in some of my pumpkin beers once, it was a little odd.
You may need a blow off tube though, unless that's already done fermenting.

is there enough headspace in that thing? It looks like it either already fermented out the top with a blowoff tube or you are about to have a huge mess on your hands

Yeah this is my basic stout i make with maple syrup i can post the recipe if u like. Its done fermenting @ %7.2 abv

Im adding the tea like a dry hop to see how much flavor it gives.

Each packet makes a yummy one cup of pumkin tea, so i did the math and ended up with needing 36 for this volume per 12oz bottle.

Lets see how it goes....

Smells amazing btw. I tied off 2 groups of ten tea bags on the top and two groups of ten tea bags loose to sink in the fermenter.

Well, the bags didnt sink like i thought they would. I dont drink tea so smh.

So i labeled the beers with a marker on the cap from first to last. Just by smell i can tell the first bottled have a light pumpkin spice smell and the last was very strong.

This might be a blessing in disguise cause i can see at which level the best come out??

Lets see....

Came out great. Tea taste is present but not very. Great pumkin spice aroma! On untapped as HopOween
