I got talked into trying a partial mash this afternoon by the guy at the brew shop. I'm trying to make a dunkelweizen and I'm concerned that the grains he gave me won't self convert. I've read that the diastatic power is pretty low for the darker malts.

My partial mash:

2# dark munich malt (Weyermann's)
1# dark wheat malt (Weyermann's)
1# carawheat (Weyermann's)

I'm adding this to about 5 pounds of Briess Bavarian Wheat LME/DME. Will this work?

Dunkel's aren't very strong beers but that looks fine to me (I'm not awesome enough to tell just by looking at it and didn't put it into any brew software). You'll be getting most of your fermentables from the LME/DME.

Thanks for the reply, earwig. I undershot my target OG by a little bit (1.050), but it should still be well within style.
