I would like to introduce you to the first annual -- New South Brew Off! This is the 2015 iteration of the Clarksville Carboys annual home brewing competition. It is a fully sanctioned AHA and BJCP event, which will take place Saturday, August 22nd at Union Hall in Clarksville, TN.

12C Baltic Porter 13A Dry Stout 13B Sweet Stout
13C Oatmeal Stout 13D Foreign Extra Stout 13E American Stout
13F Imperial Stout 14A English IPA 14B American IPA
14C Imperial IPA 16A Witbier 16B Belgian Pale Ale
16C Saison 16D Biere de Garde 16E Belgian Specialty Ale

Judge and Steward registration is open at the NSBO registration page. There will be a morning session starting at 9:00am and an afternoon session starting at around 1:00pm. All volunteers will receive a light breakfast and lunch. There are several area hotels within 2 miles of the competition for those of you traveling.

There will be a raffle and awards ceremony at the conclusion of judging, followed by the Clarksville Carboys first annual Club Crawl. All festivities must be wrapped up by 11:00pm.

You can register beers for entry into the competition and to volunteer, between now and Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11:00 PM, CDT. Entries must be received by Friday, August 14, 2015 at 5:00 PM, CDT to be eligible for judging. This year's competition is limited to 150 entries. Each entrant is limited to 10 entries, and may only register one entry per sub-category.
