Just did my 1st all grain brew.. Can someone tell me how to caculate my efficiency.. here are my notes:

started with 3.6 gal
2.25 gal after 1st mash @ 155 deg gravity at room temp 1.205
sparge with 170 deg 7.5 qt

final 4.75 gal 1.135 at room temp

Congrats on your first AG.

Provide your recipe and your post-boil gravity and volume, and somebody may be able to calculate it for you.

Efficiency depends on the amount of potential sugar (ie how much/what type of grain) so we need the grain bill. I use beersmith to calculate my efficiency.

I'm still doing the boil, the recipe is the Lump Dog brown in my sig.. How do you caculate it in beersmith?
