Hi all,
We upgraded to a 27 g. fermenter, so the rig we've been using has to go!
We are selling a one-stop fermenting solution for 10-12 gallon batches of ale and up to 15 gallon batches of lager. Plug and play!!
First is a 17 gal. conical plastic fermenter with a triclover ball valve on the bottom so you can dump trub easily. We have used this setup to make 30-40 batches of beer, and it works Very well. It is clean, with no scratches. We have a clean-in-place setup that we would be happy to show you but is unfortunately not for sale.
(You will see a keg post in the pictures. We tried to make it hold pressure, but the lid was just not designed in a way that made this possible, so you have to siphon the beer out. No big deal, just full disclosure!)
You will also see in the pictures that we built a wooden structure that cradles the fermenter and rolls on rails out about 16" to make filling and racking Much easier. Almost all of our batches have been 10-12 gallon, which work great. We have also fermented one 15 gal. batch of ale (overflowed through the lid and was very messy) and a few 15g. batches of lager (worked fine - more gentle ferments).
On to the fridge: HWD 66" 30" 32" approx.
Whirlpool 18.2 cubic feet - frost free
Door shelves removed as shown in pictures
It gets up to 110 in my garage often, and this fridge will hold 68 for ales, 50 for lagers, and 34 for cold crashes (yes, 34) in any weather. It's a work horse. You can add a paint can w/ a light to heat it in winter if you need to for ales. We'll show you ours, but it's not for sale.
Controller is the Johnson controller shown. Works great - just set it 2 degrees lower than you want the beer to be!
Local pickup only, obviously, and cash only as well. This is the instant gratification you've been looking for! Again - PLUG AND PLAY!!
