Hi all,
I am about to move to Italy and my house will have the outlet pictured below (in addition to normal EU Type F outlets):
My Breweasy 10 has the BoilCoil 20, which is a 5000W element and pulls 21A at 240V. This is not going to work with the 16A circuit in my Italian house.
My question is could I run a 3750W element at 240V which would pull 16A? For the connection, I can get a IEC 30309 to NEMA L6-30P adapter and then still run my pumps on 110V through a transformer.
Other than likely limiting myself to 8G batches with the 3750W element, what am I missing on this setup?
Thanks in advance for your help.
