@HopHeavy everything arrive intact!!! Thanks!

Excellent... All six Monk'ed Up arrived intact here, as well... And my 10 year old thanks you for the high quality blisters to pop!

Kudos for the creative play on the labels, though a couple here slipped off as well... (I reapplied with a glue stick to keep the growing lot organized.)

Sorry everyone for the labels that are falling off. Guess I'd have had more luck using plain water since the fat content in skim milk is slightly less than tap water...

Opened one last night and it was a complete dud. The cap didn't seal. My fault for using a new capper... Switched from the Red Baron because I had recently capped a sour with it and was trying to avoid any potential of contamination. Plus, I like the metal build of the new one. Opened a room temp beer to see if another had a problem and the seal was good.

Anyway, if anyone receives a dud, let me know and I'll figure out something else to send. I still have quite a few of the first attempt that has more burnt sugar and fruity flavor (from the yeast) that I can replace it with. Didn't fine it, so it has quite a bit of chill haze. Or I can send something else entirely. Just let me know.

Never have I had so many problems with a brew. Must be Murphy stepping in to muck things up.

Hopheavy and his bro Pete's beers just showed up, all in fine shape. Man you did a superior job packing them up. You're gonna laugh at my packaging I think :)

First time shipping beer... I wanted to err on the safe side. My wife said you guys would think I was nuts. I let her know that everyone in the group had to be a little touched and would understand. All but the two West Coast packages have apparently been delivered. So far, so good!

Yes, 4 received so far. The matte caps on the chalk line Santa are pretty cool.

Getting jealous over here watching all these shipments come in! Can't wait to get in on next year's exchange.

Decided that I'm going to really challenge myself to try to brew a small batch of each of the 12 beers over the next year plus a full batch of whatever I am able to pick. Not sure I want to take a third wack at the Crabapple Lambicky though lol

It was definitely soggy, the box wasn't visibly externally damaged, but the bottom half of the bottle was just utterly shattered, the biggest piece other than my shank was maybe the size of a quarter.

You guys are scaring me, mine have a lot further to travel. I agree crap happens, and as long as you get em sent out I consider the obligation fulfilled.
Mine will probably go out Wednesday (pay day) I just got the labels today. :mug:

@passedpawn Any way you can send the recipe in .PDF format? My copy got soaked and had to be disposed of. I'd love to have it if you've got time. Thanks! :D

Here you go. Man guys, I shudder now when I see a new post here. Those broken bottles are making me feel pretty bad. Those boxes are the problem - they just don't protect the bottles enough. Next time I go back to the bubble wrap.

Both Auger's and PassedPawn's parcels arrived intact...
And thanks for the 2016 sample, Matt! Hopefully it doesn't put my rendition in too great a shadow for you!

Glad they arrived safely, and hope you enjoy my version....figured it would be neat to do a side-by-side. I think your recipe was a much bigger beer than mine was, so it will be an interesting comparison.

Awesome. Thanks!

I bottled last night, I should state that six bottles came from a separate batch, they'll be pretty distinct as for whatever the reason my Biofine failed me on the bigger batch but worked as expected in the smaller. I'm going to get a bottle a pop of the soured version bottled up tonight and I'll get them out this week.

I pretty much spent all day yesterday labeling, vacuum sealing and packing. But I got it DONE!! Packages will go out Wednesday or Thursday. :mug:

Labels are printed and the sour portion packaged after blending it a bit with another sour I have on tap, please keep in mind the sour us going to bottle condition. I put one next to my furnace as a canary, so hopefully I'll see any issues in advance.
