I need a 1 gallon extract w. speciality grains recipe please. Pale Ale/ IPA or Amber would is preferred. Thank you!

Check out northern brewers 1 gallon kits. You can click on more info and look at the recipe.

So many beers... so little time.

Click on the Recipes tab at the top of the page. Choose the style you want. Find a recipe that looks good. Scale it to 1 gallon and replace the grains with extract if there's not an extract version available.

1.5 lbs base
.25 lb crystal (C60, C40, etc.)

.25 oz Bittering hops @ 60
.25 aroma @ 5

Are you looking for something like that?

Sorry, you said extract. Replace the base grain with a pound to 1.25 lb of light DME. For an APA, You could go a little higher, maybe even 1 lb 6 oz. depends on your hops.

Or are you looking for a full recipe?

So after much debate I went with the following. After the brew, I'm wondering if I'll have a hop bomb as Beer Smith states an IBU of 119! Can this be with only 1 ounce of hops in a gallon brew?

-1.5 lbs DME (extra light)
-.25 lbs Crystal 40 (steeped for 10 min @ 160)
-1 ounce Columbus hops (1/4 addition each 15 minutes)
-S-05

Yes you will!
I'd say that's an IPA, not amber or APA.

Is that what you wanted?
