I really like doing 1gal small batch brews since I can do them in the kitchen and I can make several at a time and in return they don't take up much room. I would rather keg than bottle as well so here is my dilemma...Found a website that has 1.75 gallon kegs with same size corny lids and ball lock posts, for the same price I can get a 2.5 gallon ball lock keg.
Does anyone have any experience with the 1.75gal keg?
Should I take the 2.5 over the 1.75 for 1 gallon batches in case I want to keg half of a 5gal batch?
Is there an issue with Kegging 1gallon of beer in a 2.5gal keg?
The size of the kegs are only 3" different so Im not to concerned with that aspect of the comparison. Some experienced knowledge would be great!!
Had this posted in bottling/kegging with no feedback.
