1/4" bore compared to a 3/16" bore on shank

I recently purchased 2, 4 inch shanks with a 1/4 inch bore and installed them onto my kegerator...I am running 10 feet of 3/16" beer line, but have to make approximately a 2 inch "step up" to the 1/4 bore on the shank. Has anyone found this to be a problem with foaming?

Heat the end of the tubing in boiling water, and stretch it over the bore on the shank. No worries!

I tried that...no can do....i also try to use a large flat head screw driver to strech the line a little also....

Might just be the tubing you are using, FWIW mine slides over just fine.
