Why is SWMBO always right?? (need help finding a part)

So I'm trying to build a couple of these:

I've got EVERYTHING except the schrader valves... The co2 thingy I bought will screw onto one or push onto a presta(o?) valve but I can't find either that will fit.

I've been to home depot, lowes, and auto zone with no luck. What do you guys suggest? I'd be willing to buy another co2 thingy if that'll help, even though the one I bought was like $20!

I was gripping to SWMBO about it when she said "why don't you just post on HBT about it? They'll know" Why is she always right??

Pretty cool idea. If I didn't already have my Sanyo done I'd probably give it a shot along with you. Unfortunately the only help that I can offer is to contact some kegging supply places online like kegconnection.com.

It's ok, my SWMBO is always right too. Even when she's wr.. wr.. wrong somehow she ends up being right.

Hehe I know that feeling.

The guys made it sound easy to find he said:

"1/8" Schrader valve: $1.99 (you can get them cheaper, got these at my local hardware store and they appear to be SS)"

but I'm still looking...

Rule number 2: When SWMBO is wrong, refer to rule number 1, or no sex for you.

When you get the Schrader valve (also check Lowes, they have them in plumbing section by the well pump items), your bike CO2 pump should still work by flipping the rubber stem inside the pump outlet. I'm mentioning this since you said it will fit the presta valve, most pumps will fill either style valve. You just need to unscrew the out port, and pull out the rubber insert, flip it over and reinstall.

And thanks for the link to that cheap keg site, I've been thinking/planning about how to do something similar, now I can just follow someone else's lead-Thanks!
