    I know that if you use a fermentation bucket for a lambic, it can only ever again be used for more lambic. Is the same true for Ciders? I was unable to find this information. I assume that there is a level of wild strains in the juice already, which is what contaminates the buckets on lambics...

    not sure... I'm going to research it, maybe talk with my LHBS guys and see what they think, (they're usually biased to WLP strains, though.) I'm open to suggestions. I came up with a pretty B.A. name though (at least, I thought) "Holloweizen".

    Just wondering - anyone try, or know someone who has tried to make a Wheat-Marzen hybrid? (With or without success). Was toying with the idea since I have a newly acquired spare fridge, and I would like to try to do my first 'lagered' beer. Thanks!
