Can anyone tell me how to undo this star shaped keg post? How do you break this down to clean?

I picked up all three of these kegs last night for $40. I would think the middle one is worth that alone. It is a bit dirty but no dents or anything.

Can I interchange a lid from a pin lock keg for a lid from a ball lock?
