Picture of my fermenter @ 3 weeks. Can I bottle?

Just like the title asked. The gravity has remained the same for the last 3 days. My only concern is I still have a good amount of stuff (yeast I hope, right?) floating on top. Should I wait a few more days for it to fall, or just avoid the floaties when I rack to my bottling bucket?

How fast can bottles carb up?

I bottled my witbier extract kit last thursday and primed 52 bottles with 5 oz of priming sugar. Tonight will be exactly one week of the bottles conditioning at temps around 65. I was going to wait 2 weeks to try one, but this being my first brew ever, im starting to get antsy. If I chill one...

    Successful day of "firsts" yesterday

Well gang, yesterday I ran my first 10k AND brewed my first wort! Both went smooth and successful. The Witbier brew was incident free, and I feel that all of my equipment was sanitized well. The only thing I think I may have screwed up was the reading of OG. But as long as the beer tastes...

New to the forum, new to brewing. Two questions reguarding brew day.

Hello all. I finally got a brew kit (Northern Brewer Basic) and plan on starting my first brew tomorrow. I've been reading up for the last week so I feel pretty prepared for tomorrow. I have a few questions however. I plan on sanitizing my fermenting equipment with the provided star san...
