How to Mount Inkbird PID to brew stand

Does anyone who uses the Inkbird IPB-16S plug and play PID controller have an example of how you have that mounted to your brew stand? I am looking to mount mine to that 36" wide stainless steel commercial kitchen style rolling table/cart. I'm pretty handy, so I'm sure I can figure something...

    Tennessee CoolBot Walk-In Cooler Controller

Hi Santo. I'm not seeing a PM from you.

    Tennessee CoolBot Walk-In Cooler Controller

Brand new, in box. Never used or installed. I won this at a Homebrew Competition and I don't have the time for another project. Use this with a wall air conditioner (obviously not included) to build your own walk-in cooler or lagering chamber. Includes all original accessories (power supply...

    Bad taste from Silicone Hoses.

You mentioned using well water. Could that be the issue? Try your boiling test with RO or distilled water.

    A Mad Experiment

In your canning exprience, do you ever process your cans at 133 degrees? I'm guessing not.

Tennessee Stainless Steel Inline Chugger Pump

For sale. One Chugger stainless steel inline pump. Like new-never used. I bought a pair of Chuggers several years ago and am only using one, so I'm selling the other one. This pump is like new, still in the original box and has never been used or had fittings put on it. I can post...

    Too hot alcohol taste

Is the 67 degrees the ambient air temp? If so, then your beer is getting even warmer, probably up into the 70's as it generates heat while fermenting. Are you using a temperature controller or fermenting in a 67 degree space?

    Buying new fermenters

Another vote for Speidel fermenters. I use the 30 liter ones for 5 gallon batches. Enough headspace that you (probably) won't ever need a blowoff tube. The large opening makes cleaning easy. A spout for kegging. Handles that work. They aren't exactly cheap, but will probably last almost...

    Water: pH and such

If your water tastes OK and your first few batches taste OK, there are, IMO, more important things to focus on at this point. Get your process down, pitch enough yeast, and control your fermentation temps. Once you are nailing those, look at water chemistry.

    HopGoblin

I also ordered the 14" x 6" drip tray along with a 5/16" hose barb for one of my regulators. My order took about a week to ship, but the price on the drip tray was the best I found. Received it today, and it looks great.

    Chest Feezer Fermenter Dumb Question

Your freezer will insulate its contents somewhat from colder outside temperatures, but it will not supply any actual heat. If you need to raise temperatures about ambient you will need a temperature controlled heat source (light bulb in can, small heater, reptile tape.)

    I have a beer problem...

Do you have growlers? Fill them up and give them to people you hold in esteem. You will be a hero and you'll have room in your kegs.

Pump or carry large batch to fermenter?

Silicone tubing is your friend. I hate paying for it (vs vinyl) but I love using it.

Mini All-Grain Trial Runs - Mash Tun

I can't say how well the braided hoses work with large batches and big brain bills, but for small batches, they work just fine.

    Please critique this workflow

I also dry hop in primary. The only other thing I would add is to consider using gelatin when you keg. If your process is good otherwise, gelatin with give you clearer beer quicker.

Is there a trick to cleaning out tubing?

What kind of tubing are you using? I always found vinyl tubing to be a PITA to clean. Silicone is much better in every regard.

    Keg shortage?

I don't think there's a shortage. I think there's more demand, so suppliers are charging more accordingly. I guarantee you can order as many kegs as you want, you just may not like the price.

Social acceptance - Bringing your children to a brewery

I have no problems with well behaved kids. The problem is that every a-hole thinks his or her curtain climber is well behaved.
