    Best advice on Forum

    Just finished my second batch, a creme ale, and I must say the advice RDWAHAHB is the best advice on the forum. Because of the great knowledge I've learned from you guys on the forum, my Amber Ale I bottled last month tasted great and the brewing process went much more smoothly this time around...

    I also received a pack from NB that was in the same condition. I called them and they said they would replace it. However, he did say it wasn't a big issue and that the yeast should be ok for approx. 6 months. I think I will do a starter just to be sure, but you should be good to go.

    I made an autumn amber ale from midwest two weeks ago as my fist brew and it did the same thing. Lots of activity for about 2 days and then it slacked off to almost no activity by day 5.
