My Dad made mine out of unfinished Beech. He seems to think it should be one of the most flavor nuetral woods there is. Heck, Budweiser is aged on it so you know there has to be no flavor in it!

There is a club in Tullahoma called the Backwoods Carboys Brew Club, isn't that Lincoln County? One of their guys came to our MSBC meeting and was a good guy.

I have ended up with a 1.030 FG on Safale 04 after 23 days. Tastes very good, but am a bit spooked on that FG reading. Just put it in the Secondary tonight. Suggestions?

Brewed a modified 1.084 OG All Grain version of this yesterday. Can't wait to taste it! I have a 1.070 version on tap now and I really like it. Thanks OP!
