    Leap Year Wee Heavy

    Well I decided last night that I wanted to brew a Wee Heavy on Leap Day, age it for 4 years and enjoy in next leap year. I'm still brewing this (boiling now) and will post more pictures later. Pre-boil SG 1.074 (adjusted for temp) I'll also post the recipe in the recipe section later.

    ***NEWS FLASH*** I could not believe mine eyes!

    Where are all the New Zeland Hops???

    I love using New Zeland hops in my brews but they are increasingly harder to find in bulk/semi-bulk quantities. :confused: Does anyone else feel my pain, anger and frustration? I'm just not going to buy hops in 1oz portions and get bent over the barrel paying for them. :mad:

    Bugs in orval?

    So does Orval or saison dupont have or use bugs in their fermentation process ? I have a bottle of each and can culture a nice starter to pitch into a triple to get some nice funk like Orval has.
