Ok, I'll bite...what's RDWHAHB mean?

Thanks everyone for placating my fears...much appreciated....the Cream Ale is for the wifey, who is due with our first born in mid May, so I want to make sure this Cream Ale works for her...she gone 9 months without beer, so talk about performance anxiety...I 'need' to get this batch right....

Darnit...ok, I have brewed a total of 3 batches....the first batch, my friend watched over me....however, my last two batches were solo, and I forgot to shake my ale pail after I added the wort and water (partial boil, of course)...when I added the wort from the auto siphon, I kept the hose...

It smells fine...I just had never seen that type of head/foam appear before...but this is only my thrid batch, thus my alarm...thanks for the reassurance....

So, I have brewed my third batch...first batch was a Irish Stout, and the second a Nut Brown Ale...my third batch was/is a Cream Ale, and after 7 days in the primary fermenter, I opened up my pail ale and saw this funky 'foam'...it was kinda a gelatinous foam, see attached photo. Is this a...

Thanks for the reply...I keep my bottles in light free wooden toy box...so, I will try it, hopefully no skuny beers will occur...

Hello all, first post, just started brewing... Question, I got a bunch of green Warsteiner bottles, can I use these to bottle? Second, question, is there a db that lists all the bottles one can possibly use to bottle with? Thank you...

Found out about this place from a friend who turned me onto home brewing...helped him bottle one day, he started explaing things to me, ran home told my wife how interesting it was, she filed it away, and with his help she bought me the supplies needed to start home brewing as a Xmas present...
