    Top Cropping Vacuum

Im creating a top cropping vacuum trap as detailed in the book "Yeast". One question I have is in the photo in the book at seems as the erlenmeyer flask that collects the yeast is dry. Would there be any downside to putting ~100ml of sterile distilled water in the bottom?

You might have selected a different calculation formula in 1.4 and 2.0. It didnt keep that setting for me so look in Tools>Options>Bitterness>bitterness formula in both 1.4 and 2.0 and make sure there the same.

    Beersmith Yeast Starter

The only thing im not liking is the yeast starter tab, it is showing starter size in quarts. The only way to get it to show in liters is by making your mash show in liters.
