Just bough the fridge. Hardware to come but one questions

My current kegerator is a 4.2 cu ft. danby mini fridge. Unfortunately, the door had a big plastic shelving unit in it which made the keg not fit so I had to remove it. So now the door is just bare foam insulation. What I did to avoid losing and cold was to just duct tape the hell out of the...

    Spiced Pumpkin Ale pitch rate.

So today, I brewed what I hope will be (and what preliminarily smells/tastes like) a really good fall beer for October. It was supposed to have a really high gravity, but I didn't quite hit it, in addition I only pitched 1 pack of yeast and they appear to not be doing anything. The basic recipe...

    Cant stop watching the bubbles

You say that now, but let's see who only almost died one time when your house decides to fill with CO.

    Cant stop watching the bubbles

You should definitely have an HVAC/furnace inspector come and make sure you don't have a bad furnace or something. Beer should not produce that much if any CO. This is a potentially deadly problem.

So I pulled the trigger and bought a keg today. Questions.

Do not have the space for that set up. It needs to fit in my minifridge under the desk for now.

So I pulled the trigger and bought a keg today. Questions.

Yeah. It came to around 90$. But I've called every homebrew store and coke/pepsi distributor(got desperate)/restaurant supplier for 100km and nobody has a keg by those dimensions so this was my only option.

So I pulled the trigger and bought a keg today. Questions.

The place I am doing it through does it with UPS and it cost me $48 for the one keg.

I ordered from a place called "Adventures in Homebrew" http://www.homebrewing.org/

So I pulled the trigger and bought a keg today. Questions.

I've found low profile connections which only take about an inch and the hoses go out horizontally so that's a problem I've solved.

So I pulled the trigger and bought a keg today. Questions.

I payed $52 for the keg. And more than I care to admit for shipping to canada. It ended up costing about half of what a new 3 gallon keg would cost. (The only other kind which will fit in my fridge.) So I payed a pretty heavy amount but ANY corny keg is almost impossible to find where I live.

So I pulled the trigger and bought a keg today. Questions.

I bought something called a "Low profile soda (corny) keg" and it is alleged to measure just 22" tall. I have never heard of something like that. I wanted to know if anyone has ever used one and can verify it's dimensions for me. It is a ball-lock system which appears to be built into a pressure...

So I'm committed. What do you think? any changes?

That river rock resin tabletop will look fantastic I think, one tip though, make sure you clean the rocks very thoroughly before you pour the resin(I would go so far as to soak them in some pretty heavy auto degreaser for a few hours. before rinsing them with water for at least a half hour.) We...

mini fridge freezer compartments. Who's tried removing them before?

this is specifically why I am asking. On my fridge, that is where the coolant runs so it could be a problem. if I could just turn the "rack" (the metal barrier) over and have it bump up instead of down then I would be in business. but this procedure could be quite challenging.

mini fridge freezer compartments. Who's tried removing them before?

Anyone tried this (I know it has been done a few times before) but what advice would you offer someone considering practicing thi delicate procedure on their beer fridge.

How much wort do you typically expect after your boil?

Today I tried extract brewing for the first time and it was remarkably easy. But once I had finished the boil I noticed there was a fairly small amount of wort left due to the evaporation of the water during the boil. I had started out with ~2 gallons (I didn't measure precisely, I just gave it...

I am looking at getting a kegerator and kegging my beer. Couple questions.

I did not see that (and I looked pretty hard) That said, I found and think I will buy this kit. http://www.kegkits.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=BT2&Category_Code=HBKKT

I am looking at getting a kegerator and kegging my beer. Couple questions.

I have been conversing with some people on reddit who have lead me to believe (I did come to this conclusion by myself) that using a corny keg will be a pain in the a** because I will be required to find a keg connector which fits one. I am hoping to buy either this kit or something like this...
