California Pair of Brewer's Hardware 15g Jacketed Conicals

Really more interested in the port than the valve itself. Based on the pic it looks like the left doesn't have one (hard to tell from the right one). Brewers Hardware currently has it on these fermenters so just wanted to confirm.

California Pair of Brewer's Hardware 15g Jacketed Conicals

Also somewhat hard to tell from the photos but do these both have the sampling port and valve on the side of the conical? And any pics of the lid would be helpful. Thanks.

Do you have pictures of the all the extras you would include? Also any chance you would sell/include the stands I may be willing to pay a little extra for them?

Gas and Temperature Control for Dummies

Right, based on my wiring it should still be failsafe as I am not bypassing the control module to power the valve, just moving the the pid controller to be a additional switch for the main valve instead of switching the pilot. I tested this and it works the way I want so I definitely prefer this...

Gas and Temperature Control for Dummies

Love this thread as it provided some great information. Anyways I thought I would ask a possibly stupid question here that I am not sure anyone has asked (maybe they have and I missed it). But anyways it seems like all the wiring diagrams have the PID controller setup to switch the...

Rotating pickup tube for dish bottom Kettle

So I finally took my single tier 20 gallon all grain brewing system for a spin last week (made a 10 gallon batch of pale ale) and it generally went pretty well but clean up was a more work than I anticipated. My system includes a kettle with a dished bottom to whirlpool trub into (tank is from...

    Spike... I need a conical

I think their PRV is available its just not adjustable. http://www.homebrewfinds.com/2011/02/build-spunding-valve.html I was thinking about doing something like this but with a tri clamp instead of the ball lock connector... Not as sanitary as the one you proposed but much cheaper...

    Spike... I need a conical

Can you elaborate more on this? The website says that the CF15 is designed for 10 gallon to 1/2bbl. I started off homebrewing 5 gallon batches and am migrating to up to 15 gallons. I dont brew often so I currently only want to buy 1 fermenter and I would love the flexibility to do a 5 gallon...

    VFD Variable frequency drives ?

Yes you are correct. Don't know what I was thinking when I wrote that (I think I meant to say it will take single phase or three phase input not output). A VFD and a 3-phase motor can be had for pretty cheap on ebay (I got three 1/4hp single phase VFDs for $100 and a motor shipped for $40).

    VFD Variable frequency drives ?

Automation direct has several single phase drives that will drive single or three phase motors (see GS1 and GS2 drives). I am currently building a brewing system using 0.25hp 3 phase motors with peristaltic pump heads (masterflex i/p head connected with a 56C frame adapter) controlled by...

    PLC programming and wiring tutorial

This is a great idea for people like myself (not an electrical engineer or anything close). I am currently in the process of putting together a PLC based system using a Click PLC which has been a long project of mine (learning as I go along). I am planning on using automated valves, PID...

First time using CO2... and I got no dispensing.

Took the regulator back and the Home Brew Shop replaced it for me... had them check the replacement to make sure it worked...

First time using CO2... and I got no dispensing.

No... there is no gas coming out of the regulator at all...

First time using CO2... and I got no dispensing.

Oh and no gas was coming out of the regulator when it was NOT connected to the keg (so it shouldn't be due to any connections to the keg)

First time using CO2... and I got no dispensing.

The bottle is not empty (I can assure you of this because if that were the case the gauges would never move), there are no valves on the regulator, I opened the co2 bottle all the way but no gas was coming out the connector that is suppose to connect to the keg. I pushed the relief valve (low...

First time using CO2... and I got no dispensing.

So I went to the store today to buy a simple kegging system and it came with a 5 gallon keg and CO2 tank and a regulator... I got home and replaced the o-rings on the keg with the ones they gave me. I hooked up all the quick disconnects on the keg (with picnic tap to). I don't have a batch of...
