I harvested about 2 lbs. of hops this year. After drying, I sealed them in storage bags. I immediatly put them in my freezer. My question is how long will they last in the freezer. I usually use fresh Hops to Dry Hop.

I use hop pellets and purchase them at the same time I buy the grain. I can probably rule that one out.

I have brewed this IPA several times with good results. My last batch has a strong BITTER after taste. What could have caused this? I am confused since I followed the same procedures as I have always did. And my temps were also right on the money. Any sugestions?

My first year plants also have also met the top of my twine, all at 12+ feet, but I would like to get some type of harvest this year. Should I just leave them grow on their own or do I need to do some trimming??

Can I use fresh just picked hops in my next batch? or must I first DRY out the hops. If I don't need to dry them first, what would be the equivalent of 1 ounce of pellets vs fresh off the vine?? Obviously I am new to this and would appreciate any comments..
