    Transferring from primary to secondary

I like to move the beer to the secondary; I find it cleans the beer up a little bit more than leaving it in the primary.... Not scientific at all, just what I like to do.

All extracts have a similar taste?

They are all AHS kits with the recommended liquid yeast. I follow the direction to a T and have consistantly hit the exact starting and finishing gravities...something I read was hard to do with extrat. I have never added the extract at the end. All extracts have a similar taste?

Hi, I have brewed up 4 extract with steeping grains recipes so far. (Stout, IPA, Red, and Wit). They are all different styles and tastes but they all seem to have a similar underlying taste. Its not a bad taste at all, I am happy with the beer, but I am wondering if it is a limitation of...

Sorry for the same old question - Temp ?

I have searched many times but have not found exactly what I am asking: Am I better off carbonating in my basement where the temp is consistently between 64 – 66 degrees or upstairs where the temp rang is 70 – 80 degrees with an average of 76? Thanks, Bill
