    Still has to make it through the senate but it passed the senate last year. The big hold up was the house so this is a major victory.

    One very disappointing coffee stout. Will have to rebrew. On a happier note, I'm drinking it from one of my set of four lost abbey glasses from Christmas.

    I did this as my first all grain a week ago. Didn't seem complicated, just a single infusion mash. Did you add anything extra to the process?

    Sweetwater is great, nice grape-fruity IPA. If you can find any Good People Brewing, give it a shot. Brewed in Birmingham. Brown ale and IPA are in cans, along with many others on draft. They have a tap room in house if you pass through the area.

    5 Gal Boil in 2 pots

    Sounds like a lot of extra effort and calculation for not that much extra reward. If it's lighter color you're chasing I'd just do a 2.5 gallon boil and a the majority of the extract close to the end of the boil. But if you do split it, you need to split all ingredients between the two pots...

    Beer in the fridge won't carbonate, it needs to be room temp.

    If your beer is flat It's going to taste watery. Just relax until it's properly carbed.
