    Summit Hefe Yeast

    Has anyone successfully cultured summit brewery's hefe yeast? The web site says that it's been filtered with some german yeast left in to keep it fresh. I have 3 bottles from a sampler pack and was thinking about saving the dregs from all three and trying to culture from that. ANYONE?

    Is 1056 really this big of a beast??
