New post a picture of your pint

Not a pint, just a first sample pull of my German Pilsner for my homebrew party in 2 weeks.

    Sorachi Ace Brooklyn Clone

Here is the recipe I made up. I wasn't trying a clone or anything, it just happened to be close from what I remember. Also, it looks like I was trying to use up some extra grains I had for this bill, so you could probably simplify that as well. 6.5 gallon boil 5.5 gallon batch OG: 1.055 FG...

    Sorachi Ace Brooklyn Clone

I brewed a beer two years ago for my homebrew party that turned out pretty close to BB Sorachi Ace, in my opinion. Ill post the recipe is used in a bit. May help you for a descent starting point.

    Blonde Ale Murican Blonde Ale

Anyone ever throw eye in this in place of the wheat? Or cut the wheat down and add rye?

Reading, Lancaster, Allentown PA area HOP BUY

Nope. After my divorce I went back to a ten gallon cooler system (5 gallon batches). Fermenting in corny kegs and low oxygen transfers. Got a 55 gallon blichmann system to play with in the near future as well. How have you been? Still down toward Pottstown?

Reading, Lancaster, Allentown PA area HOP BUY

So as McGeary said, I'll be up and brewing soon. Just moved into a new house so it's been chaotic. But hoping to brew a five gallon batch as soon as this weekend, hopefully. In the mean time I will start getting price sheets and whatnot and start a thread when I'm good to go.

Any picture of the panel? Would you sell that separately?

55 gallon electric complete system or parts

Looking to step my game up and start dipping into the commercial end of things. Looking for an electric system, but possibly just parts to put it together myself. I had The Electric Brewery 50amp control panel, but had to sell it all due to divorce. Hoping to use the same panel, if I can find...

American Wheat Beer Mosaic Honey Wheat

Brewed this one up two weeks ago. Very good and will be a "go to" brew when it gets hot out. Thanks for the recipe!

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I almost used finings to clear my cryo batch but I wanted to see for myself what happened without. I too had some burn with pellets, but like you said, it faded after a few days. But that didn't happen with the cryo batches. I plan to try a few things that may help the cryo batches, but I...

Is it possible to buy a pallet of grain?

Country Malt Group will do pallet/group buys without any kind of brewery license or anything if, and here is the main catch, you have someone in your group who bought from them before roughly 2003-2004. After a certain year they changed their policy that you needed a license, but anyone who...

Those of you asking about "hop burn", did you use cryo hops? If so, let me know how long until the burn completely goes away, if it does. Doing a bit of personal research on cryo hops.

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I posted this several pages ago and had a few replies that thought this was from the yeast. I have come to my own conclusion that it is indeed from the cryo hops. I brewed the exact same recipe, one with cryo and one with pellets. The cryo version had this dryness/chalky-ness. The pellet...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

When I used liquid yeast, I used to do my starters about five days in advance, chill the night before, and pull it out when I started brewing to decant and warm up. However, now I've been sticking with S04. One packet rehydrated about a half hour into the boil. Been working flawlessly on my...

New England IPA "Northeast" style IPA

I use Columbus to bitter and Columbus at 10. I believe I even use it in the dry hop, but would have to check my notes.
